WWE has been on fire since welcoming fans back to their shows with fully packed arenas.

Finn Balor made his return to the main roster after a near two-year sabbatical in NXT on SmackDown. John Cena made a shock appearance to close out Money in the Bank.

John Cena addressed why he’s targeting Roman Reigns

On RAW, Cena spoke to the WWE universe to open up the show and returns for Goldberg and Keith Lee would also comprise a stacked show.

Cena opened proceedings by leading the WWE fans through some token cheers. The 16-time world champion was basking in his newly-found universal love from the fanbase, especially following the amazing pop he received at Money in the Bank.

When he got down to business, he said he was targeting Roman Reigns because he’s an ‘a**hole’.

Reigns isn’t as over as he thinks he is and Cena believes he needs to knock him down a peg.

Keith Lee returned to a huge ovation

Keith Lee has been out of action for around six months in WWE and there has been an air of mystery as to why.

It was thought that maybe didn’t have any plans for the Limitless One, but once he could not compete at the Elimination Chamber for the United States title, it was reported that he couldn’t get medically cleared.

Lee returned on RAW to answer Bobby Lashley’s open challenge for the WWE title. While he came up short on the night, the pop that welcomed Lee back shows RAW has another important star back on their roster.

Speaking of Lashley, he was the apple of Goldberg’s eye, too.

Goldberg will challenge Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam

The WCW icon and four-time world champion made his first appearance in WWE since challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE title at the Royal Rumble and he’s right back in the title mix once again.

He wants to face Lashley at SummerSlam and that would certainly be the biggest date of Lashley’s championship reign thus far.

Goldberg, 54 and a WWE Hall of Famer, has been criticised by large sections of wrestling fans for his performances in recent years but he still has a two-matches-a-year deal until 2023 with WWE.

Goldberg was at his apex in 1998

His name still brings value to the table, but many fans would like to see him used without having him vie for – and potentially win – the WWE title.

WWE have more surprises up their sleeves in the coming weeks with Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch both still yet to return to the company, but they are expected to.
