I’m sorry to learn of Tupperware’s demise. My Tupperware biscuit container circa 1966 shows no sign of wear and is part of the family’s heirloom (Tupperware files for bankruptcy in US and hunts for new owners, 18 September).

Hopefully those in Europe affected by Storm Boris will be able to recover and rebuild soon (Weather tracker: Storm Boris brings catastrophic flooding to central Europe, 16 September). We in Britain, however, are still suffering from the effects of our own storm of that name.

Bands fighting on stage? (‘Only three more songs till I kick your ass!’ Rock’n’roll’s biggest onstage bust-ups, 16 September). You forgot to mention the Fall, New York City, 1998. Mark E Smith scrapped with three members of the band. We can be thankful it was the lineup that did not include “yer granny on bongos.
