Welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back at the site-related news and community creations from the previous week!
As many of you already know, this is the week of PAX West and the Giant Bomb staff are in Seattle to celebrate the event’s 20th anniversary! There will be a Bombcast Revengeance on Saturday and a special Blight Club on Sunday! If you will be at PAX West, the times are listed below. If you aren’t in Seattle, both panels will be streamed on twitch // pax2 on Twitch, and the VODs will be available on YouTube after the show!
Speaking of Giant Bomb’s plans to bring you great and wonderful content on the site, don’t forget that you can have a piece of Bee Week 2024 that you can keep for years to come! That’s right, there’s a new novelty sweatshirt and t-shirt on the Giant Bomb Store you can buy right now! Also, if you check out the store postings for those two items, you’ll notice the site is trying to get a bit more transparent about sizings.
Also, Drew has started their yearly fundraiser for National MS Society! For all of the memories, especially a particular meme you are all familiar with at this point, please consider donating to their fundraising page over here.
Also, huge props once again to @marino for not only being the editor for this feature but also for whipping up and creating a carousel on the front page for Giant Bomb’s coverage of Gamescom! Give that a look in case you missed any of Giant Bomb’s activities there.
Finally, be aware that Monday, September 2nd, is Labor Day and the Giant Bomb staff will be off as a result.

Kone was on an absolute ROLL this week! First, they made a bunch of great artwork for Giant Bomb’s Bee Week which you might have seen as part of Giant Bomb’s Spelling bee feature. Likewise, they awarded Bailey the US Presidential Medal of Freedom for his victory. And finally, Kone had some “fun” with the start of the latest Blight Club featuring Mike’s journey into the Wii port of Alone in the Dark (2008)!
