The Community Spotlight 2024.08.24

• Bookmarks: 4

Welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! I, @zombiepie, am once again happy to be your host as we look back at the best site-related news and community creations from the previous week.

Bee week, huh? It seems like the staff have developed some affection for the pollinating apoidea, and that includes adding a Bee Week t-shirt and sweatshirt to the Giant Bomb Emporium.

Once again, if you are still having issues with getting discounts on the Giant Bomb store, drop a comment in the “site-tech-issues” section of the Giant Bomb Discord or send an email to [email protected]. As I said last week, @dtoast/Dylan has found a way to resolve this issue rather quickly.

The issue of old non-premium podcasts appearing in the Premium feed and the Premium Feed not updating correctly this week has been logged by @dtoast as a ticket and sent to Fandom’s EM as a higher priority.

Also, with most of the Giant Bomb team traveling to attend Gamescom, the normal programming has been a bit different, but don’t forget to catch Giant Bomb’s Gamescom coverage over here!

Mike & Dan Meme Template (By: @simkas)

The first is a template featuring Mike and Dan that I think many of you could have fun with that was made by Simkas on the Giant Bomb Discord. As I have said before, what you do with this is between you and God until you share it on the internet.
