Welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back at the best community creations from the week!
With most of the staff back from their breaks/vacations, things are returning to normal. With that in mind, this is a friendly reminder that those of you still struggling to get your Lifetime Subscription should ping Dtoast in the Giant Bomb Discord’s “Site-Tech-Issues” channel. @dtoast is also the person to reach out if you notice Giant Bomb Infinite not working, there’s a technical issue with the video player, or have issues with the API.
For those of you pointing out issues with the podcast RSS feed or are experiencing issues with the feed sending you ad-versions of podcasts when you have Giant Bomb Premium, you want to ping @turboshawn in that same channel. Shawn is now in charge of any podcast app, RSS Feed, or premium Feed problems. For any of you adverse to using Discord, you can continue to send emails to [email protected]. Giant Bomb also has a Zendesk page.
Over on YouTube, the staff are trying to get back into making compilation and highlight videos. This week, they created a thirty-minute-long video compiling the best moments from the Superman edition of Blight Club.
There have been some changes to the Giant Bomb store and the 2024 Summer Collection. Those of you that bought merchandise that is no longer available should have been refunded and the final suite of Summer-themed Giant Bomb goods are:
However, final reminder to those of you attempting to buy premium merchandise and are not seeing your discount, you need to sign in on Giant Bomb and then sign in separately there on the store store. There are some of you that use different emails for the store and the site and if that’s the case, you might not be able to see your merch discount or the new premium-only t-shirt. In that case, just create a new Giant Bomb store account with an e-mail that matches your Giant Bomb account and if they line-up, you should be fine.If that is still not working, send an email to [email protected] or head on over to the Giant Bomb Discord to ask for help.
