I just love hot sauce. It’s one of those condiments that makes everything better. It adds a little zing of tangy, spicy flavor to whatever I’m eating, and if I’m lucky, that hot sauce will have other flavors infused in it to give my food even more flavor. While I do love attempting to make my own hot sauce, like this sweet and spicy chili sauce, when I find a store-bought hot sauce that I really love, I can’t help but buy it in bulk. Which is why I’m particularly excited about the recent collection of hot sauces now sold at Aldi.

Now available in the seasonal BBQ section of the store, Aldi is selling three tasty hot sauce flavors in 8-ounce bottles for just $2.99 each. Each of the flavors features a citrus fruit to really give each hot sauce that extra sour taste. There’s Lemon Lime, Blood Orange, and Key Lime Habanero. These hot sauces are not only perfect for your favorite Mexican dishes, like black bean and sweet potato tacos or cilantro-lime chicken quesadillas, but they’re also great for some of your favorite eggy breakfast dishes, like scrambled eggs with green peppers and mushrooms. We also think these sauces could give your classic deviled eggs a unique twist!

Aldi shoppers also agree that these sauces are the bomb dot com. “The flavor is surprisingly really good. Not overwhelming with vinegar,” writes one shopper on Reddit. “Bet these could be fantastic on some fish tacos,” writes another.

Along with these hot sauces, Aldi has a whole slew of summer goodies at the “BBQ Headquarters” end cap in its stores. Stock up on spices, chips, sauces, dressings, even jars of pickles, all perfect for grilling hamburgers and hot dogs this summer. If you’re not a big fan of overly spicy sauces, we also spy a bottle of hot honey if you love a sauce that is the perfect mix of spicy and sweet.
