See Tony Danza and his ‘forever TV daughter’ Alyssa Milano reunite in sweet new photos

Four decades after they first portrayed father and daughter on TV, Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano still share a love for each other.

The former “Who’s the Boss?” stars reunited recently when Milano caught Danza performing at his “Sinatra and Stories” show at the Carlyle Café in New York City.

“My forever TV Dad,” Milano captioned a pair of photos of them together on Instagram Sept. 23. “I got to see him last week perform his show at Cafe Carlyle. He sang, played his uke, and danced. And damn…I’m so blessed to witness the joy that emanates off him when he performs. Love you, T.”

“Likewise my forever tv daughter,” Danza wrote in the comments before he pumped up Milano’s gig in “Chicago” on Broadway.

“Love you and thank you for being there for me and I’m coming to see you in @chicagomusical on Broadway!!! Can’t wait!!!”

Danza also posted a photo from his meeting with Milano on his Instagram page.

“My forever tv daughter. Love you @milano_alyssa and thank you for coming to my show. Can’t wait to see you in @chicagomusical on Broadway!!!!!” he wrote.

“Who’s the Boss?” premiered Sept. 20, 1984, and became a staple of 1980s primetime television, running for nearly 200 episodes over eight seasons until it signed off in 1992.

Milano and Danza have remained close. Earlier this year, Milano took her son, Milo, to see Danza perform at his live show at Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles.

“Tonight was very special for me,” she wrote, in part, on Instagram, about the experience.

In 2022, Milano, Danza and fellow “Who’s the Boss?” co-star Danny Pintauro snapped photos at Danza’s jazz show in Los Angeles.

“Getting closer. If you know what I mean,” Milano captioned the photos on Instagram, which may have alluded to a potential “Who’s the Boss?” reboot.

In 2020, Milano and Danza each announced the show would be returning. In 2021, Milano said the project was moving along.

“I think we’re closer,” she said on TODAY. “We are still developing because obviously we want it to be something as special and relative to these days as ‘Who’s the Boss?’ was originally.”

In 2022, news broke that Amazon’s Freevee streaming service would be the home for the reboot, but in April of this year, Danza played it coy when asked about the reboot while appearing on TODAY.

“There’s always a chance,” Danza said at the time.

In May, Milano told “Entertainment Tonight” the show was “still in development” and that they are “still looking for a home” for it.

“(We’re) working really hard, because we feel like we have some more of the story to tell,” she said.
