Agatha All Along Brings Kathryn Hahn Back For 9 Episodes of a WandaVision Sequel Series

NEARLY FOUR YEARS have passed since we watched Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) cast a town-wide, TV-focused spell on Westview, New Jersey in WandaVision, and it’s finally time to head back and see what happens next. Agatha All Along, Marvel’s first major Disney+ live-action TV release of 2024 (after Echo dropped as a binge at the very top of the year) allows WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer to continue the story she began to tell with Wanda and Vision (Paul Bettany), but instead shifting the focus to the fan-favorite breakout villain Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn).

When we last saw Agatha, the purple-powered witch was being punished for her treachery when Wanda mind-wiped her, casting a spell that made her truly believe she was the nosy neighbor she spent the majority of the series posing as. As we pick up in Agatha All Along, it’s clear that the spell is still working at full power, as Agatha believes she’s living in a Mare of Easttown-esque murder mystery drama.

Except what she doesn’t realize is that the spell is beginning to wear off, and so all of these TV tropes and cliches (and an even more sinister witch played by the great Aubrey Plaza) are signs that she’s got a whole new journey she’s going to have to go through, one that involves magic, the Darkhold (which we last saw corrupting Wanda in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), and all sorts of fun Marvel mania.

Agatha is a fun series that taps into the same humor and irresistibility that WandaVision did. With each passing episode, you’ll certainly have a few laughs, but you’ll also be second-guessing everything you see, wondering what every and anything really means. We remember all the clues and fan theories and fun around WandaVision, and while Agatha may not reach that level, we can feel pretty confident that Marvel is going to try—and make a pretty damn entertaining show along the way.

Below, we’ve got all the information you need so you don’t miss a single episode of Marvel’s delightfully Witchy new limited series.
