Everyone has their own tasks and thoughts on the matchups and what will happen. But Newsweek Sports is here to provide five bold predictions for the Week 3 schedule of games.

5. Quentin Johnston continues his breakout season, registering 60 yards and another touchdown

While the Chargers may not win the game, Johnston continues his hot start to the new season. Many gave up on him early on but he shut up doubters last week with a two-touchdown performance.

He keeps going and adds a third to his stat total. Los Angeles finally sees consistent signs of life from their former first-round pick.

4. Lamar Jackson gets Ravens’ first win, rushes for over 100 yards vs Cowboys

The Ravens have started the year 0-2 and another loss could jeopardize their season. They are taking on the Dallas Cowboys on the road, a game that could be tough for them.

However, star quarterback Lamar Jackson will lead Baltimore to a big win for their first victory of the season. He uses his legs in this one and gashes the Cowboys on the ground.

3. Kyler Murray leads the Cardinals to upset win over the Lions

Murray has been playing very well to open the season, throwing for 428 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions. He helped Arizona rout the rival Los Angeles Rams last week and almost pulled off the big upset on the road in Buffalo in Week 1.

Arizona is rolling right now and could end up being a surprise team in the NFC this season. Murray looks comfortable in the offensive scheme that they have put together and he may finally be putting it all together.

2. Andy Dalton claims top QB spot for Panthers, keeping Bryce Young on the bench

The Carolina Panthers shocked many around the NFL world this week with their decision to bench starting quarterback Bryce Young. While Young has struggled, nobody expected Carolina to give up on him so early into the season.

The team is going with a veteran to lead the charge and Dalton has been here plenty of times. This could be one of his final chances to start in the NFL and he will make the most of the opportunity ahead of him.

1. Both Sam Darnold and CJ Stroud throw for over 300 yards in a classic early-season game

The Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings square up today in what could be the best game of the weekend. Both sides come in 2-0 on the year and will be looking to make a statement with a win.

Quarterbacks Sam Darnold and CJ Stroud will both put on a show in this game, making it a classic offensive shootout.
